To protect your intangible assets, it is essential to be able to provide undeniable proof that your intellectual asset existed in your possession at a particular date and time in its original form.

Authors, rightholders need to have any confirmation that they have owned in possession their intellectual assets, especially before content is disclosed, published, revealed.

The Service could be compared with a "digital notary" that due to its legal admissibility achieves the same goal as a stamp on a paper.

It comprises a high-tech resource that can be trusted due to its technological clarity and the impossibility of external interference / influence.

PROOFIP does not have access to the content and does not store the original file. The process creates a crypto code, which is embedded into the document. Technically, a strong cryptographic hashing function processes digital document while still in its original location, producing a hash value uniquely identifying that file, ensuring 100% confidentiality.

Each cryptographic timestamp is accompanied by the issuance of a corresponding Certificate, containing information about the owner of the processed file, the name of the processed file, the unique fingerprint (a hash) of the file and the exact time of its fixation in the Time Stamping Service.

In case if someone tries to challenge your rights on content from the timestamped file, the Certificate will be a strong evidence in your legal position.
